Illinois Proxies Privacy Policy

Version dated October 10, 2026. A proxy service sits in the path of your traffic, so the question of what it keeps deserves a direct answer. This policy lists every category of information we hold, the reason we hold it, how long it stays, and the small number of outside companies that process some of it for us. It applies to illinoisproxies.com, the il.illinoisproxies.com dashboard, the API and our Telegram bot.

Information we hold about you

Account details: the email address you registered with, a hashed password, the time zone and language you choose, and any Telegram username you link to the account. Payment references: the order number, the amount, the payment method and the reference the processor gives us, such as the last digits of a card or a transaction hash. We never receive or store a full card number.

Connection metadata for each line: the time a proxy session started and ended, the source address that connected to the proxy, the amount of data moved, the rotation events, and the public address the carrier had assigned at the time. These records let us answer carrier complaints, investigate abuse and show you usage in the dashboard. Support messages: what you write to us by email or through the bot, kept with the account so that the next person who helps you can see the history.

Information we do not hold

We do not record the content of your traffic. We do not keep the pages you visit, the requests you send, the responses you receive or the credentials you use on other sites. Encrypted traffic passes through the line encrypted, and plain traffic is forwarded without being stored. We do not build profiles from your browsing, and we do not sell information about you to anyone.

Cookies and analytics

The website sets a session cookie so that you stay signed in to the dashboard and a cookie that remembers your language. We use a minimal, self-hosted page counter that records which pages are viewed and the country of the visitor; it does not set tracking cookies and does not follow you to other sites. There are no advertising pixels on our pages.

How long records stay

Account details stay while the account is open and for twelve months after it closes, in case of a dispute or a refund question. Payment references stay for as long as tax and accounting law requires, which is longer. Connection metadata is kept for ninety days and then deleted, except where a specific record is needed for an open complaint or a lawful request, in which case that record alone is held until the matter closes. Support messages stay with the account and are deleted with it.

Other companies that see some of it

Payment processors see the information needed to take and verify a payment: the card or wallet details you enter with them and the order amount. Our email provider carries the transactional messages we send you, such as receipts and overdue notices. Telegram carries any conversation you choose to have with the bot, under its own privacy policy. The carriers whose SIMs we use see the traffic on their network as they would for any subscriber. None of these companies receives your account information for marketing.

Your rights over the records

You can see and change your account details in the dashboard at any time. You can ask for a copy of everything we hold about you, and you can ask us to delete the account and the records that go with it. We answer within a reasonable time and in any event within thirty days. Deletion is subject to the retention periods above for payment records and open matters, and we tell you which records remain and why. Requests go to [email protected] from the email address on the account.

How the records are protected

The dashboard and the API are served only over encrypted connections. Passwords are stored as salted hashes. Access to the systems that hold account data is limited to the staff who need it to run the service and is logged. The rack hardware in Chicago is in a locked facility with controlled access. No system is beyond compromise, and if we learn of a breach that affects your information we will tell you about it without undue delay.

Children

The service is for adults. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under eighteen, and an account found to belong to a minor is closed and its records deleted.

Changes to this policy

When the policy changes, the version date at the top is updated and the new text is published on this page. A change that reduces your rights or expands what we hold is announced by email before it takes effect.

Questions about privacy go to [email protected] or to @IllinoisProxiesBot on Telegram.

Questions

Can you see what I do through the proxy?

We can see that a session happened, when, from which source address and how much data it moved. We cannot see the pages or the content; that is not recorded.

Do you store my card number?

No. The processor handles the card. We keep the order reference and the last digits so that we can match a payment to an order.

How do I delete my account?

Email [email protected] from the address on the account. We close it, delete the records we are allowed to delete, and confirm what remains under accounting law.
